The founding, plainly

In mid-2022, Belle signed the lease on 32-1, Jalan PJU 5/11, Dataran Sunway, after years in hospitality without running her own place. The goal wasn't complicated: a cafe that served real food at fair prices, looked calm, and welcomed pets indoors without making a theatrical show of it.

Three-and-a-half years later, the Google ratings (4.8, 300+ reviews) and the regulars who know their way around the menu have answered the question. It worked.

What we care about, in order

1. People feel welcome. Pets, laptops, solo diners, brunch groups, first-dates. There isn't a "type" of customer we cater to more than another.
2. Food is made fresh. Waffle batter is mixed every morning; croissants are proofed overnight and baked by 8 AM; coffee is pulled manually, not automated.
3. Prices are fair. We price intentionally below upscale PJ cafes. You shouldn't feel guilty ordering a second latte.
4. The space stays calm. Muji-inspired design, soft music, natural light. We built a room that feels good to be in, not an Instagram backdrop.

Belle, the owner

Belle is the owner and host. She runs front of house, knows most regulars' dogs by name, and personally trains each new team member on coffee, service, and pet-handling. Her background is in F&B hospitality; she holds a Malaysian Food Safety Manager qualification and runs the kitchen to ServSafe-aligned practices.

Credentials matter less than the thing regulars notice: she's in the cafe, on the floor, almost every open day. If something's off with your order, she'll hear about it directly and fix it.

The team

A small core team of 4–6 baristas, cooks, and floor staff. Everyone is trained on coffee, every role, and the pet-handling basics. We cross-train on purpose, so the person making your latte can also tell you which waffle to order.

The space, up close

What we don't do

• No reservations. Walk-in only. Fair, first-come-first-seated.
• No Wednesdays. Team rest day. Non-negotiable.
• No dine-in service charge. Menu prices are what you pay for dine-in. (Foodpanda adds their own; that's outside our control.)
• No chain ambitions. We're staying as one cafe, in Kota Damansara. If we grow, it'll be into the dish menu, not across multiple outlets.

How we grew

The growth has been slow and word-of-mouth. A few PetsWorld directory mentions in early 2023. Google reviews steadily accumulating. Instagram posts from regulars. We haven't run paid ads. The people who find us tend to stay with us.

We're at 32-1, Jalan PJU 5/11 Dataran Sunway, 47810 Kota Damansara, Selangor, Malaysia. Open Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun from 8 AM to 7 PM. Closed Wednesdays. Walk in. Your dog is welcome indoors.
